We’ll inform you if your item qualifies for a warranty. Minor faults will be repaired at no charge within a reasonable timeframe according to ACCC guidelines. Major faults, as defined by the ACCC, include serious issues that would have deterred you from buying the item if known beforehand, safety concerns, significant differences from the description or sample, or failure to perform as expected.

If your issue is classified as major, you can opt for a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund. Please note, for health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of personal undergarments (like compression wear, briefs, trunks, and jockstraps), protectors, or socks.

Cricket Bat Warranties Inclusions and Exclusions:

  • ·       A cricket bats never stays or looks new forever, from the first time you use it, it is going to devlope scuffs, seam marks or smaller surface cracks which are normal.
  • ·       Smaller surface cracks could happen during knocking in process and they do not come under category of fault and they are perfectly normal and are not covered under warranty.
  • ·       There are numerous reasons why cracking can happen, including but not limited to : improper knocking, insufficient knocking, use of cheap hard bad quality balls, softer willow, poor maintenance and general wear and tear.
  • ·       Small cracks are normal without any effect on bat’s performance and they can be sanded off easily.
  • ·       A bat is not going to last forever, the lifespan depends on use, a person doing 3-4 net sessions a week and 2 games would experience significantly less life of cricket bat than a person only playing on weekends.
  • ·       Any damaged caused without use of proper protection on bat e.g. Face sheets etc would void the warranty.
  • ·       Toe protection is a must as using a bat without toe protection could attract moisture and can damage the bat. No to e protection would void the warranty.
  • ·       The price of a bat have no relation to how long it is going to last. Infact more expensive the bats, softer the willow is hence more prone to damage than cheaper bats made of harder willow.
  • ·       Each cricket bat is going to perform different, having a bat with less performance than what you think it should have is no reason to return under warranty and such returns would not be accepted.

We need to assess your bat to decide outcome of your warranty claim. Each claim is handled on case by case basis so there is no one fix for all. . We’ll let you know the next steps based on your situation, following ACCC guidelines. This could mean repairing, replacing, refunding, or redoing the service. We always follow Australian Consumer Law when assessing claims. All cricket bats come with a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects, not caused by you. Please understand that most claims can’t be fixed right away.

THE CRICKET BAT WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • Yorker damage is not covered w.g toe blown out or split into two. This is mostly caused by yorker damage or use of improper balls.
  • Damaged that occurs due to improper prep of the bat and lack of knocking and playing in or machine knocking.
  • Damaged caused by machine knocking not done by Pro Cricket and arranged by the customer from a 3rd party.
  • Damaged caused by moisture/water or wet weather
  • Damaged caused due to lack of care e.g. lack of toe guard, under oiling or not covering the face with extratec antiscuff sheets.
  • Damaged caused by non-leather balls e.g hard plastic balls or rubber balls or any other material.
  • Use of bowling machines void the warranty straight away. And any damaged caused by bowling machine balls is also not covered.
  • Using the bat to install stumps or any use other than hitting a leather cricket ball.
  • Damage caused by cheap hard sub continent balls.

Please Keep in mind that Cricket Bats are crafted from natural willow designed to endure the rigorous impact of hitting solid objects repeatedly. Minor cracking is common and doesn’t affect the bat’s performance. These cracks can often be smoothed out through sanding, a practice that has been used for centuries in cricket bat maintenance. Cracking doesn’t mean your bat is defective; it simply suggests it needs more knocking in.

Cricket bats that require, handle replacement or replacement of full bat under warranty are sent back to manufacturers and can take upto 4 weeks for turnaround.
